현실 세계의 구조와 구속은 좌표 없는 격자 같아서 어떤 질서 속의 불확실성을 지닌다.
이처럼 복잡한 상태에서 문화, 사회, 기술, 경제 사이의 상호작용은 서로 영향을 미치며 질서 정연한 격자의 특정 상태를 깨뜨리는 존재가 된다.
설계팀 Some Thoughts는 바나나인 콘셉트매장 항저우점의 디자인을 탐구하면서 격자 위 좌표계의 기하학적 요소에서 영감을 얻었다.
공간에 구현된 수직적인 디자인은 중력을 가장 직설적으로 표현하는 한편, 구부러진 형태는 중력을 시적으로 묘사한다.
기둥에 매달린 캔틸레버는 구조 형태를 보강해 작업했고, 장력에 의한 극적인 공간 경험을 창출하는 파격적인 형태와 자재의 연구를 통해 추상적이고 곡선적인 형태와 유닛을 조성했다.
특정 구조물에 의해 받쳐진 볼록한 면은 공간에 캔틸레버를 형성하여, 유기적 요소와 기계 사이의 새로운 상호작용을 연출한다.
유기적 요소와 기계적 요소가 경계의 구성을 방해하며 물질적 본성을 초월하는 과정에서 대중은 그 사이를 이리저리 거닐게 되는데, 이로써 지속적인 확장과 전환을 체험하게 된다.
재료의 확장, 공간의 밀도, 각 유닛의 형태를 통해 더욱 체험에 몰입하게 하고, 공간 질서를 위한 캔틸레버 구조의 영향을 강조한다.
물결처럼 구성된 알루미늄 격자 매트릭스에 블랙앤화이트 대리석이 파도처럼 쏟아지고, 무작위와 질서의 충돌이 체험의 형태로 나타난다.
천연 소재가 파괴되고 다듬어지고 재구성되면, 자연의 잔재들은 우리가 공간 내 유기적 요소의 존재를 인식하는 데 일조한다.
Some Thoughts는 바나나인 콘셉트매장 항저우점의 디자인에서 대리석과 금속 소재의 충돌로 ‘자연’을 재정의하여, 유기적 요소가 구조와 해체 사이의 ‘과정 미학’을 달성하게 만들었다.

In exploring the design for Bananain Concept Store Hangzhou, Some Thoughts draws inspirations from the geometric elements in the coordinate system.
Vertical is the most straightforward expression of gravity, while bending is a poetic depiction of gravity. As applied in the interior,
the cantilevers hanging over the columns have reinforced this structural form, while the abstract and curved forms and units
were created by researching unconventional shapes and materials, which generated the dramatic spatial experience by the structural tension.
The cambered surface is supported by a certain structure to form a cantilever in the space, introducing a new interaction between the organic
elements and machinery. In the process of transcending utilitarianism or material texture, organic elements and mechanical
spontaneously interfere with their composition of boundaries, enabling the public to meander around with an experience of
continuous expansion and transition. People’s experience gets more immersive through the expansion of materials, density of the space,
and shapes of each unit, punctuating the influence of cantilever structure for this spatial order. Black and white marble poured
into the grid matrix, composed of aluminum grids like waves, and the collision between random and order appeared in the form of experience.
