세 조각 아파트 Tres Piezas Apartment
R34는 기존의 주거 공간을 소형 임대 사무실로 개조한 프로젝트다.
이 프로젝트는 조용한 주거 지역인 소이 라민트라 34의 모퉁이에 위치하고 있다.
인근 주택들은 단층 또는 2층의 밀집된 구조로 되어 있다. 건물 용도를 변경하는 것은 물론, 개조 작업은 주변 이웃과의 관계 개선에 중점을 두어 진행되었다.
사적인 주택 공간이 외부 임차인들이 공유할 임대 사무실로 변환되면서, 공간의 요구에 따라 기존 주택을 둘러싼 벽의 확장이 필요했다.
모든 벽을 개방하여 넓은 시야를 제공함과 동시에, 도로 근처 사용 가능한 공간 측면에서 모퉁이가 이웃 주민들에게 더 친근하게 보였다.
원래 건물은 3층 콘크리트 구조로, 과거에 2층과 3층에 철골 구조물을 추가하여 확장한 적이 있었다.
이번 개조에서는 디자이너가 후에 추가된 구조물을 모두 제거하기로 결정했으나,
주요 콘크리트 구조물은 그대로 유지하며, 원래 모서리 벽을 새로운 디자인의 핵심으로 활용했다.
현장 조사 결과, 기존 1층 구조는 공공 도로에 비해 상대적으로 높이가 낮고, 계단은 좁고 가팔랐다.
디자이너는 이 지상층 영역을 개조하여 더욱 공기가 잘 흐르도록 설계를 수정하고, 열린 환경에서 적합한 사무실 사용 방법을 고민했다.
2층 바닥 슬래브를 제거하고, 시각성과 사용자 접근성 관점에서 수직적인 공간 연결로를 만들었다.
프로젝트는 원래의 벽, 기둥, 보를 건물의 새로운 중심축으로 보존한다.
이 축을 넘는 추가 구조 요소는 기존 건물의 특성을 유지하면서 제거되었다.
사용된 재료 색상에서는 아연도금 강철의 은색 톤과 회색 톤이 포함되었으며, 이는 시공에 사용된 돌덩이와 연마된 콘크리트를 반영한다.
이러한 색감 구성은 건물 전체의 다양한 요소와 사용된 자재의 정직성을 나타낸다.
The R34 is a project to convert an existing residential space into a small office for rent.
The site is located on the corner street of Soi Ramintra 34, a quiet residential area. Typically,
homes around this location are single or two stories which are built tightly.
Not only renovating this building but also adjusting the use of the building, also focuses on improving relations with surrounding neighbors.
Usability shifts from a highly private space to a rental home office that will be shared by outside lessees. In order to meet the spatial needs,
the original wall surrounding the existing house had to be expanded. By opening all of the walls,
the corner area looks more friendly to the neighboring residents in terms of a more spacious view and available area around the road.
The original structure was a three-story concrete house with a previous extension to add several steel structures on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
In this renovation, the designer chose to remove all later additions, but kept the main
concrete structure and brought the outstanding identity of the original corner wall into the new design narrative.
