전통적인 매장에서 벗어나 브랜드의 인지도를 높이고 독창적이면서도 매력적인 경험을 제공하려는 목표로, 이들은 Leckie Studio와 협력하여 차별화된 공간을 구상했다.
키칠라노의 여유로운 해변가 지역에 자리 잡은 모노스 밴쿠버 플래그십 매장은 젊고 진취적인 브랜드의 철학을 반영한다.
여행의 순간에 몰입하고 그 찰나의 아름다움을 소중히 여기는 가치를 담아 디자인되었다.
이 매장은 주요 디자인 요소를 통해 방문객이 물 흐르듯 자연스럽게 이동하도록 유도하며, 공간 자체를 하나의 여정처럼 느껴지게 만든다.
바닥에서 천장까지 이어지는 투명한 유리 파사드는 웅장한 아치형 입구를 강조하며, 방문객들이 모노스의 색상 컬렉션과 다양한 제품, 여행용 액세서리를 탐험하도록 이끈다.
4m가 넘는 둥근 천장을 지나 내부로 들어온 방문객들은 빛, 질감, 그리고 호기심을 자극하는 다감각적 경험을 만나게 된다.
여행의 추억을 떠올리도록 설계된 이 여정은 정교하게 구부러진 벽돌 벽 앞으로 배치된 맞춤형 진열 시스템에서 절정을 이룬다.
이 시스템은 공간의 끝에서 방문객들을 마치 또 다른 세계로 초대하듯 안내한다.
벽돌과 석고로 구성된 단순한 모노톤의 소재 팔레트는 제품 자체를 돋보이게 하는 동시에, 멀리 펼쳐진 풍경으로 떠나는 여행을 연상시키는 조화를 제공한다.
Vancouver-based online retail shop for
travel and lifestyle, Monos wanted to open its first brick-and-mortar flagship store.
It looked to Leckie Studio to develop a unique and engaging retail experience that would set the boutique apart from traditional stores and enhance the brand awareness.
Situated in the relaxed beachside neighbourhood of Kitsilano, Monos Vancouver Flagship
Store embodies the ethos of this young and ambitious company; the value of immersing oneself in the moment and recognizing the beauty of
fleeting moments in travels. The store is intentionally designed to transport visitors through a customer journey using key design.
The floor-to-ceiling glass facade shows a grand archway as it is to visitors, and leads them to a space to explore Monos’ colour collection, core pieces and travel accessories.
Once drawn into the space passing through the vaulted ceiling more than 4m, the visitors engage in a series of thoughtfully
curated multisensory experiences following light, texture, and curiosity. Designed to evoke the memory of travelling,
these transportive moments guide the visitors through a custom display system toward an undulating brick wall towering at the end of the journey.
The monochromatic material palette of brick and plaster is reminiscent of travelling through distant landscapes,
while providing a minimal and versatile backdrop for showcasing the products.
