카페 뉘앙스의 첫 번째와 두 번째 매장을 성공적으로 선보였던 스튜디오 우크로니아가 다시 한 번 새로운 도전을 이어갑니다.
이번에 설계한 공간은 파리 8구의 트레무아유 거리에 자리 잡고 있으며, 앞선 매장들처럼 고객들에게 다양한 커피와 빵을 제공하면서도 특별한 경험을 선사합니다.
이곳에서는 포장 서비스부터 매장 내 테이블 이용, 셀프서비스까지 여러 방식으로 편하게 즐길 수 있습니다.
새로운 매장은 브랜드가 추구하는 독특한 세계관을 시각적으로 확장합니다.
두 번째 매장에서 확인할 수 있었던 다채롭고 복고적이면서도 미래지향적인 미학적 감성이 이번에도 고스란히 담겼습니다.
먼저 외관은 깔끔한 흰색 파사드로 구성되어 있는데, 이것이 행인들의 호기심을 자극합니다.
내부로 발을 들이면 외부와는 극명하게 대비되는 풍부한 색감과 신선한 디자인이 방문객들의 시선을 사로잡습니다.
특히 실내의 색상 그라데이션은 스튜디오 우크로니아의 설립자 줄리앙 세방이 최근 여행에서 얻은 영감을 반영한 결과물입니다.
세방은 튀니지의 광활한 사막에서 바라본 황혼의 아늑함을 떠올리며 이를 공간에 녹여냈습니다.
이 색채는 그가 여름날의 온화함에 보낸 찬사와도 같습니다.
매장의 벽과 바닥에 펼쳐진 그러데이션 효과는 브랜드의 상징적인 주황색 래커 선반과 스테인리스스틸 카운터를 더욱 돋보이게 만듭니다.
설계팀은 카운터를 한층 더 강조하기 위해 바닥에는 그러데이션 처리된 용암석을 사용하고
벤치에는 스테인리스스틸 텍스처가 느껴지는 패브릭을 활용하는 등 다채로운 소재를 과감히 도입했습니다.
무엇보다 이번 매장에서는 기존 매장의 시그니처였던 스트라이프 디자인 대신 밝은 색감의 여러 반구체를 거울 타일 양면에 배치해 공간의 독특함을 더욱 극대화했습니다.
이러한 요소들이 어우러지면서 마치 꿈결 같은 카페 분위기가 완성되었죠.
반구체들은 마치 우주에 떠 있는 행성처럼 보이며, 어쩌면 토성이 아닐까 싶을 환상을 불러일으킵니다.
새로운 카페 뉘앙스는 단순히 커피를 마시는 공간 그 이상으로, 감각과 상상력을 자극하는 특별한 경험을 제안합니다.
Building on the success of Café Nuances’ first and second shops, studio Uchronia took charge of designing its new store once again.
This time it’s on rue de la Tremoille in the 8th arrondissement, with a similar offer to that found in the other
shops: a wide and original range of coffees and pastries to take away, enjoy on the spot, or treat oneself.
From an aesthetic point of view, this new address picks up on the codes present in the second shop,
accentuating the brand’s colourful, futuristic and retro universe. On the outside, the immaculate white facade
intrigues passers-by, and the interior space contrasts with the outside while inviting them to let themselves be carried away by the gaiety that reigns there.
The colors of the gradations were inspired by the recent travels of Uchronia’s founder, Julien Sebban.
They remind him of the sunsets in the Tunisian desert, a veritable ode to the gentleness of summer days.
The gradations on the walls and floor work together to draw the eyes to the stainless steel counter, overlooked by orange
lacquered shelves, a signature of the brand’s boutiques. In order to set the counter apart from the others, the design
team has used unusual materials such as gradated lava stone for the floor and stainless steel-effect fabric for the benches.
Unlike its two existing shops whose interiors feature striated shapes, here the poly-mirror tiles are complemented by half-spheres in
saturated colors, accentuating the dreamlike feel of the coffee shop. They create the illusion of floating balls, which can be mistaken for Saturn.
