대담하고 초현실적이며 감각적인 이 단어들은 뮌헨에 이어 두 번째로 모스크바에 문을 연 아방가르드 디자이너 캐롤 크리스찬 포엘의 모노브랜드 매장을 잘 설명합니다.
2021년에 설계된 1층 매장의 성공 덕분에 마침내 2층 확장이 이루어졌고,
이를 위해 부티크 크리에이터 알렉산더 모이센코프는 기존 매장을 설계한 아리아나 아마드를 다시 초대했습니다.
가죽 제품과 실험적 처리 방식에 있어서 뛰어난 전문성을 갖춘 캐롤 크리스찬 포엘은 오늘날 가장 신비로운 디자이너 중 하나로 손꼽힙니다.
브랜드의 정체성은 순수함에 뿌리를 두고, 디자인 작품의 아름다움과 자율성에 중점을 둡니다.
따라서 새 매장은 방문자들이 방해 없이 사색과 즐거움에 푹 빠질 수 있는 환경을 제공해야 했습니다.
프로젝트의 주요 목표는 공간을 탁 트이고 순수하게 유지하면서 제품과 디자이너의 비전, 그리고 창조성을 완벽하게 강조하는 배경을 만드는 것이었습니다.
모든 계획과 디자인 세부사항은 브랜드 및 설계팀과 협력한 후 인쇄형태로 밀라노에 보내졌습니다.
2층은 대형 창문과 화장실을 갖춘 1층보다 넓고, 콘크리트 바닥, 노출된 보와 설비, 자연 그대로의 벽면, 폐공장의 유리 블록, 심플한 흰색 타일 등이 특징입니다.
심플한 산업적 장식은 아방가르드 컬렉션을 위한 이상적인 배경을 제공합니다.
101 Copenhagen의 의자와 GK Concept 제작의 Friends&Founders 테이블 등 최소한의 가구가 공간을 보완합니다.
중앙에는 반쯤 잘린 주철 욕조로 만든 눈에 띄는 예술 작품이 자리 잡고 있는데, 이는 아리아나 아마드와 알렉산더 모이센코프의 공동 작업입니다.
이 공간은 디자이너의 창작물을 가장 잘 보여줄 수 있도록 단순하게 구성되었으며, 브랜드 고유의 분위기를 흐트러뜨리지 않고 완벽하게 전달합니다.
Bold, surreal, and sensual – these words encapsulate the mono brand boutique of avant-garde designer Carol Christian Poell in Moscow,
his second in the world after Munich. The first floor designed in 2021 by the architect Ariana Ahmad, achieved such success that it led to the expansion of the second floor.
Boutique creator Alexander Moiseenkov invited Ariana Ahmad to continue the visionary project.
Carol Christian Poell known for his mastery in leather work and experimental treatments, is one of the most enigmatic designers today.
The essence of his brand lies in the purity, and focuses on the beauty and autonomy of the design pieces. Therefore, the new store needed to offer a
distraction-free environment for contemplation and enjoyment. The architect’s main task was to open up the space,
keeping it pure and creating the perfect backdrop to highlight products, the designer’s vision, and creativity.
The project was directly coordinated with Carol Christian Poell’s team, and all plans, visualizations, and details were sent to Milan in printed form.
