디자인과 생활의 경계는 유형과 무형의 얽히고설킨 분위기에서 결정된다.
유한한 공간 안에서 무한한 시간이 흘러가면, 사람들은 공간에서 할 수 있는 유의미한 경험을 원한다.
이런 맥락에서 이 프로젝트의 경계는 물리적 장벽만을 의미하는 것이 아닌, 감정을 확장하고 단순한 형식을 넘어 임계점에 닿으려는 시도다.
이곳은 이름처럼 경계 지어졌지만 언제든 그 경계를 허물 수 있는 공간이다.
33㎡의 조붓한 공간에서 배치를 세심하게 재구성하여, 장식장과 벽을 배열하고 확장했으며, 조명으로 실내와 창문 밖 풍경을 매끄럽게 연결한다.
벽에 감춰진 문은 필요할 때 언제든 열 수 있다.
이 문은 다양한 요구를 충족시켜, 동선을 직관적으로 흐르게 만들고 공간의 탄력성과 투명한 시야를 유지한다.
회색과 화이트 톤으로 구분 디자인된 공간은 모던하고 정제된 매력을 보여준다.
은은한 대리석 베니어로 장식된 기본 단색 팔레트는 한층 더 세련된 아름다움을 느끼게 만든다.
광물 페인트의 자연적 질감은 넓은 벽면과 바닥을 조화롭게 결합하고 공간 경계를 흐리게 하여, 감각적 온기를 더한다.
설계팀은 방 2개, 거실 1개, 주방 1개의 기존 배치를 개방 공간으로 변형했지만 필요에 따라 별도의 방으로도 유지할 수 있도록 했다.
기존 방의 조명 대부분을 차단하여 빛이 입구와 식사 공간을 비추도록 방 칸막이를 없앴다.
구조 및 자재의 미학이 가득한 이 공간에서 빛과 그림자가 흐르면, 경계는 사라지고, 유형과 무형의 모든 굴곡이 제각기 제자리를 찾아간다.
세상은 혼란스럽고, 경계를 정확히 표현하는 건 매번 어렵다.
뒤엉킨 수많은 감정을 끌어안아 안정시켜줄 하나의 안식처, 한켠에 삶의 떠들썩한 먼지를 가라앉힐 수 있는 여백.
그러한 공간이 이 프로젝트의 지향점이다.
그러면 최고의 삶이란 더 이상 의미를 좇지 않아도 되고, 시간은 아무 말도 하지 않고, 하루하루는 급하지도 느리지도 않게 흐르는 것이다.

The concept of a boundary, in this context, is not a physical barrier but an attempt to extend emotions and to touch the threshold beyond mere form.
As its name suggests, this place has boundaries, but they can be broken at any time.
In a modest 33㎡ space, the layout is meticulously redefined, arranging and extending cabinetry and walls, and connecting
interiors seamlessly with external views. Hidden doors meet diverse needs, enhancing intuitive flow of movement and maintaining spatial flexibility and transparent view.
This space designed in gray and white tone shows modern and refined attraction.
A foundational monochromatic palette adorned with subtle marble veneers complements the elegant design.
Natural texture of mineral paint gracefully combines large walls and floors, blurring spatial boundaries and adding emotional warmth.
