리나센테 Rinascente
Studiopepe가 밀라노에서 위치한 리나센테(Rinascente) 백화점의 4층 공간을 개조했다.
1980년대 밀라노의 업무 현장에서 영감을 얻어 조성되었던 공간은 기능적이고 엄격한 분위기에 의해 정의되었고, 시대를 초월한 우아한 디자인으로 표현되었다.
Studiopepe의 크리에이티브디렉터인 아리안나 렐리 마미(Arianna Lelli Mami)와 키아라 디 핀토
(Chiara Di Pinto)는 기능과 시각적 기준으로 미묘하게 구성된 일련의 구역으로 공간을 계획하면서
디자인 전반에 걸쳐 일관되고 현대적인 분위기를 유지하는 데 주안점을 두었다.
밀라노 거리 스타일을 반영한 대중적 색조와 그래픽 요소의 사용은 매장 디자인에 새로운 접근방식을 초래했다.
이들은 색상을 건축도구로 간주했다. 강렬한 에메랄드그린, 은색, 검정은 산호색과 밝은 노란 색조로 인해 활기를 띠는 독특한 팔레트를 연출한다.
원형으로 마감된 강철 튜브 같은 요소들은 또 다른 중요한 영감의 원천으로 프랑코 알비니와
프랑카 엘그(Franca Helg)가 디자인한 밀라노 지하철 역사(驛舍)의 형식을 참조했다.
밀라노의 과거와 현재에 대한 일종의 경의는 신중한 자재 선택에 반영되기도 했다.
고운 광택의 강철, 플렉시글라스, 테라초는, 알비니와 엘그가 지하철 역사의 벽체를 마감하기 위해 대리석과 화강암 분진에 착색 안료를
혼합하여 개발한 소재인 Silipol, 프라다재단의 상징적인 알루미늄발포 마감재인 Alusion,
혁신적인 바이오 기반의 지속가능한 소재인 Milleforma처럼 대조적인 질감을 가진 실험적 소재들과 짝을 이룬다.
맞춤 제작한 원형 가구와 진열장은 로돌포 보네토(Rodolfo Bonetto)의 안락의자 Boomerang 같은 상징적인
디자인제품들과 어우러져, 고객들에게 독특하면서도 집 같은 체험을 선사한다.
고운 광택의 플렉시글라스로 만든 곡선의 큰 장은 스니커즈 컬렉션 진열장으로 활용되고 크롬강(鋼) 그리드 모듈로
만든 원형 진열대의 배경이 된다.
가죽 커튼으로 둘러싸인 원형 탈의실은 지오 폰티(Gio Ponti)의 상징적인
폴딩도어에서 영감을 받았으며, 세련되고 매혹적인 공간 안에서 흥미로운 랜드마크가 되었다.
Studiopepe revamped the 4th floor spaces of Rinascente Department Store.
Inspired by 1980s Milan workplaces, the spaces are defined by functional and rigorous atmospheres, and expressed in a timeless and elegant design.
Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, creative directors of Studiopepe, conceived the space as a series of zones subtly
organized by functions and visual references, while focusing on maintaining a coherent and contemporary atmosphere throughout the design.
The use of graphic elements and pop tones echoing Milan street style convey a new approach to retail design.
The colour is conceived as an architectural tool. An intense emerald green,
silver and black create an unusual palette animated by coral and bright yellow tones. Elements like the steel tubes finished in circles are a
formal reference to Milan underground stations as another important source of inspiration, designed by Franco Albini and Franca Helg.
