토르타 다 빌라 Torta da Vila
‘토르타 다 빌라’는 상파울루의 대표 주거지역 중 하나인 ‘빌라노바 콘세이상(Vila Nova Conceição)’에 위치한 패밀리 레스토랑이다.
이들 브랜드는 이번 프로젝트를 통해 브랜드의 시각적, 공간적 정체성을 새롭게 정의하고자 했다.
설계를 맡은 PHENOMENA는 브랜드의 기존 로고에서 아이디어를 얻어 새로운 매장 콘셉트를 전개했다.
설계팀은 로고의 본질적 요소인 녹색, 회색 두 가지 색채와 파이 모형 심벌을 브랜드 아이덴티티의 기반으로 삼았다.
하얀 바탕의 건물 입구에 그려진 녹색 파이 로고는 사람들을 토르타 다 빌라의 입구로 자연스레 안내한다.
입구로 들어서면 거리를 향해 오픈되어 있는 테이블 구역이 나타난다.
콘크리트 블록으로 경계 지어진 외부 공간은 옅은 회색빛으로 디자인되었다.
시멘트로 거칠게 마감한 바닥과 벽면의 반을 채운 회색 페인트는 화단에 심어진 녹색 식물들과 은은한 조화를 이룬다.
시멘트, 콘크리트, 목재가 가공하지 않은 날 것의 형태로 활용된 것처럼, 새로 디자인된 로고는 ‘가장 본질적인 것’이라는 전제에 따라
식물의 색과 동일한 녹색 톤으로 칠해졌다. 중앙에 나 있는 커다란 창은 얇은 녹색 철판으로 만든 카운터를 통해 매장 내부와 연결되어 있다.
공간을 통합할 뿐 아니라 빛과 공기 순환을 향상시키는 커다란 개구부들과 함께 공간의 흐름이 한층 강화된다.
실내의 바닥과 벽면은 파이 로고에 사용된 녹색을 사용해 디자인했다.
외부와 마찬가지로 벽체의 절반만이 녹색 페인트로 칠해져 있어 통일감을 띤다.
회색과 녹색의 합은 현대적이면서도 색감적으로 조화로워 미니멀한 공간 분위기를 더욱 극대화한다.
심플한 컬러 배색은 일체감을 유지하며 손님들에게 편안한 분위기를 만들어준다.
설계팀은 벽의 아래쪽 절반만 주요 색상으로 칠하고 위쪽 절반은 흰색으로 유지하여 서로 다른 공간을 가로질러 시선을 사로잡는 선형성을 만들어냈다.
색들 사이의 극명한 선은 공공과 개인, 안과 밖 사이의 연결과 유동성을 제공하는 깨끗한 공간을 만든다.
“Torta Da Vila” is a family restaurant located at Vila Nova Conceição, one of representative residential areas of São Paulo.
This project started from the necessity of redefining visual and spatial identity. PHENOMENA arquitetura developed new spacial concept inspired by existing brand logo.
The design team extracted only the essential, the pie symbol and the two colors of green and gray as the foundation of a new brand identity.
The pie logo in green on the white facade leads people to Torta Da Vila naturally.
Entering the entrance, they are greeted by tables area opened toward the street.
This area bounded by concrete blocks is designed in light gray.
The floor finished roughly with cement and the wall painted only the bottom half in gray harmonize delicately with the green plants in the flower bed.
The new logo was painted with the same green tone on the facade, following the premise of what is essential,
as cement, concrete and wood are used in their raw form. The exterior and interior spaces are connected
by the thin green steel counter through a large window between two spaces.
